I have had some mice in my home from time to time and have been working through mouse proofing (slow and difficult process, especially with small children and sub par organization and clutter reduction). I have caught a few using a havahart (the two it caught in the house were deer mice), and I really like that trap. However, I put out this trap earlier tonight in our garage just sitting in the middle of the floor, and an hour later when coming back out for a tool, I could already see one in it. I am looking forward to seeing how many it and the one in the kitchen catch tonight.

Best rodent trap I have ever owned and I own all the traps! Rodents are a huge problem in the forest where I live so I have spent hundreds of dollars buying traps and more trap and electric traps... all the traps. None of them have been easier to use than this one. I caught 4 rats in 4 days. And this trap does not snap back and hurt me! I love this trap! Worth EVERY penny! The only negative is that you can not put a nut on the peanut butter as the weight of even one nut is too heavy and trips the trap. It works though with just peanut butter!

Arrived on time and works as advertised. Best part about this product is that it is hands free and humane is humane. Make sure to smear peanut butter inside the top near the pointy section. Helps to put peanut butter on the ramp too.

I live in mouse country have tried traps but only catch only 2-3 here and there, I put my bucket together yesterday stuck it in the garage yesterday to put in chicken coop tonight this morning with no bate I caught 2 in my garage ! Yay! I have even tried the peanut oil trick but it is messy

Arrived fast in a plastic bag bent out of shape so the trap door would not sit in the grooves without falling off. I had to steam it over boiling water and manually bend it back into shape enough so the trap door sits in the grooves (just). We will see how it goes.
