Bought this to make shabu-shabu as well as Korean BBQ grill. Works well with frozen meat. Was able to cut razor thin slices. Takes some learning on the adjustment to get it right. The handle piece of the meat could use some improvement as well as the cleaning. Overall, it is a good cutter to have for those wanting to make shabu-shabu

Really easy to use, did not expect very high quality until I open the box. It is simple construction but it does the job. Most parts are made of metal, easy to clean. I have a motorized one, it may require less effort to cut, but painful to clean, because it has a lot of plastic part. This one is much easier to clean, and easy to control.

I was quite surprised how well this thing actually worked! i was worried it was going to be difficult, but it actually worked really well. i used it to cut frozen pork shoulder into really thin slices. there is knobs so you can adjust the thickness of the slices as well. i cant wait to use it again for shabu, hot pot, and everything else i couldnt normally make!

This helps a lot in cutting pork skin but not on meat and fats. Did not try on cutting small bones. Cutting soft meat will do 70% accomplishment. Cutting dried pork skin will do it 100% perfect

This slicer is amazing. If you like the thin slice meats aka Mongolian Grill oe Korean BBQ you will love this. It effectively shaves thin slices of solid frozen meat. I let a roast freeze solid the lob off paper thin slices. The con of this slicer is you will get cut one but never again. Ouch.

Works best when meat is completely frozen. Our handle has a weird plastic smell but does not detract from its functionality. Would definitely buy again.
